Linking Now TV with BT

I have just spotted that I am being charged twice for NOW TV? I have it within my BT entertainment package and I also have a separate (Stick ) account, I have been searching to find a number to talk with NOW on how I link the two accounts and only pay once but finding a phone number is not as easy as i'd have thought. Any ideas on how I can do this?

Did you create a different NowTV account when you purchased the Stick with the bundled passes on them which is different to the BT TV account with the NowTV bolt on package ?

 

Open the NowTV Stick and from the Home Screen towards the bottom of the television screen, click on My Account to see your login details, this should indicate the email address or username when you setup the Stick (unless you have signed out previously and logged back in with your BT TV sign in details.

 

Should be this is the case, cancel the pass or passes used on the Stick.

Is there any way to link the two accounts For Example: we have credit and passes on the stick paid for through NOW TV, but now we get free NOW TV through our BT account so we are paying for two different accounts? Ideally we want to link the two accounts as we have 6 months of films on the stick but this won't be on the BT account (or will it?)

Your best bet is to contact NowTV live chat.

 

I suppose if you have a NowTV account with six months films on it, then keep that account active until the the last month before the six months expires and then fully cancel the NowTV Cinema pass to prevent it auto renewing in the future.

 

Then with your BT TV account don't subscribe to the NowTV movies package until the six months are up on the NowTV account.

 

Should you have a BT TV NowTV movies package, then maybe see if you can cancel it for six months ?

 

Going down this route gets a little messy where you will have to keep logging in and out of devices depending if the pass you want to watch is covered under NowTV or BT TV.

 

Plus you need to keep monitoring both accounts.

 

Personally if it was me i would speak to both NowTV & BT what is the best way forward, where i doubt it is possible to link these two accounts together and maybe one of them will give you some sort of refund for any duplicate passes.

Thanks we had the stick prior to the BT adding us to their package so have credit on the stick account, do you know if we can link the two accounts?

I don't think this is possible.

 

All you can do is cancel the NowTV pass or passes on the non BT TV Account which you used on the Stick and jump over to NowTV live chat (use my previous link ) to see if they can offer you some sort of refund for the unused vouchers still saved on the Stick account.

 

Once everything is cancelled at NowTV 's end, sign into the Stick with your BT TV login credentials.
