I got a free Hayu pass a week ago, which worked, and I have had a one day sports pass for free, about two or so years ago, which did not work.
In the case of the non-working sports pass I got in touch with Now TV's Live Chat and, when asked by the help personnel, forwarded my email to them as proof, they then supplied me with a valid sports code.

And click the down arrow and get onto Live Chat.
They should be able to supply you with a valid cinema pass voucher code number.
