Cancelling TV

Just a heads up to all those who bemoan pricing for NOW TV. I have not for years now paid full price for any single TV membership. Today, after a few months free Boost with other associated offers I decided to hit the "cancel" button. "How about a special offer just for you?" £2 a month for three months. Yes thanks, happy with that.

Is that really a good way to do business though? I know it’s been Sky’s MO for years and I used to do the same with Sky TV but it leaves a bad taste in the mouth.

Sky have pretty much stopped with the whopping offers, otherwise I would have stayed with them. Plus I am not over fond of long-term contracts, or being forced into bundles I don't want.
