Boost £1 for 3 months offer "expired" early

Got an email offering Boost for £1 for 3 months - expires tomorrow at midnight. Just tried to activate it and apparently it's expired already. Anyone else having this issue?

 

On a related note, anyone else seriously peeved by how difficult they make it to get help and their lies about a mythical live chat? Also I tried to tag this as "Poor Service" and they won't let me! Not keen on criticism are they?

Contacting NOW has been posted on the forum beyond endless times. A couple threads down from yours ways to contact has been posted.

Here it is nonetheless.

To get live chat you need to click “chat online” within the green box, don’t hit “get help quicker” as this is a bot.

Thanks for the link @gavs82008 Really appreciate it because that is definitely not where I was signposted to when I was searching. How great that they've hidden it on such a specific page that's no where near where they signpost you to go!

I went to https://help.nowtv.com/article/how-to-contact-now like an idiot and when you click "Get in touch" and then "Feedback & Complaints" you get this page https://help.nowtv.com/get-in-touch/feedback-complaints/complaint-about-tv-service  which is incredibly different!

It is a pain, and you can get to the live chat via "get in touch". When you make your selection, there should be a little downward arrow which then gives you the option for live chat.

If you choose a category like "account and payments" then then "Cancelling or renewing NOW Membership" you should have the option for that downward arrow I was referring to. Which is directly under "How to get in touch".

Yeah that one works - I'm beginning to feel like they don't actually want people to contact them!

Haha I've found they want you to self fix issues, but when it comes to it and you have to talk to someone. For those who don't know the site well it can be a pain to get speaking to staff.

Although wonderfully, clicking "Chat Online" just opens a new tab with the same page 🙂 And "Get help quicker" does nothing but highlight the words and nothing else.

What you need to be aware of, if your using a mobile like I often do, you might need to scroll a wee bit to make sure "Chat Online" is the main thing you see to click. As I have done exactly the same thing as you by somehow hitting "get help quicker" which is very ironic!
