Because you're a BT customer we can't add any vouchers to your account
I bought a Now TV stick with 6 month Entertainment pass a few months ago. Today I plugged it in and tried to link to my existing Now TV account, but it says "Sorry - you can't use your voucher right now. Because you're a BT customer we can't add any vouchers to your account. It says I should return it for a refund. However, if there is some problem linking to my account, I would rather just link the pass to my wife's account, rather than returning for a refund. Please advise how I can do this? I also doubt Argos will give a refund as I have opened the box and I bought it months ago.
