Just switched my box on for the first time. It'sa in Spanish. anyone any idea how to change it to English.

Are you using a nowtv box if so what type (ie white, std black or smart with the blue nowtv logo on the top case) ?
If you are using the white or black std box try a factory hard reset (see link guide below how to reset box)
