@Lindzi Had to tell someone!! Guess what!! There's some 'big' deaths coming in season 8 according to show runners!
http://comicbook.com/thewalkingdead/2017/09/21/the-walking-dead-deaths-war-spoilers-gimple-/
I'm thinking big deaths ... actor who plays Carl wants to spend more time on studies ... Is our wish finally coming true?!?
This could be the moment we've been waiting for ...
Yep I've been watching....I have absolutely no idea what is going on! I should go back and watch the last episode of the last series but I'm not sure that I can do it to myself 🙂
Oh I thought you were going to buy the main show on Amazon? I think the episodes have been really good so far. This week was the last one until February.
I also found someone uploading Talking Dead to you tube, although a week behind and with Spanish subtitles, so I'm all set 🥳
Yep, I'm not really sure what is going on with World Beyond, maybe @Andy will be full of knowledge on the subject.....although he needed our reminder that it was even on, so maybe not!!!!!!🤣 I'm guessing it's all filler until Rick Grimes appears in the final episode and leads us in to his spin-off movies.......do these movies exist or are they just mythical like the Loch Ness Monster????????
I am enjoying season six of Fear, not long past the point where John Dorie left us and that submarine is no doubt going to pop-up again??? @Andy , yep, a submarine, better get watching!!!!
I think @Andy was a shoe in for buying the eps on Prime and binging, I was a bit more on the fence so could go either way.
Still can't believe Talking Dead didn't make it's way on to Disney+, but if you search hard enough on Youtube you can find anything!!!
@Thom77 @Lindzi Nope I've no idea what's really going on myself. What I think is happening is the Republic have clearly been destroying the other colonies, including Hope and Iris's one (the name of which I've forgot - going well!) but pretending it's empties/walkers who did it. I've no idea why they were destroyed, you'd think you'd need all the humans you can get to protect yourself from the empties, but apparently not. The Republic seems to be living the good life with canteens and central heating and generators supplying endless electricity and Hope has joined them after deciding she wanted to go on her own, and then lasting 10 minutes before changing her mind. Iris has gone off with whatshisname and ended up in a different camp under Republic control, and has sort of found out that it's the Republic destroying other colonies not the empties. And now Silas has turned up with some other bloke in yet another colony under Republic control but to be honest I didn't follow this bit at all so I'm not really sure who he's with, what they're doing or why they're doing it ... but they're doing something!! Oh and Elvis is nowhere to be seen.
Hope that clears it all up for you guys!! 😂
I'm watching it ... I'm sort of enjoying it ... but I'm not sure why I'm watching it, as I'm not convinced it's actually going to add anything to my understanding of the Walking Dead Universe whatsoever!
If you have any more questions about World Beyond, please send them this way and I will completely bluff my way through those as well! 😉
As long as we're all in the same boat with the level of understanding we share about what is going on then we can't go wrong???????
I was wondering where Elvis was too, then realised the missing lad in the corduroy suit is actually a young Elton John (the British Elvis).......surely he'll pop up next week??
.......and then Morgan came along riding a horse and......damn it, wrong spin-off!!!!!!!

Oh yes!! Where is that elvis kid? He went looking for silas, i think, but was he on his own or is there another character missing with him?
Yep, they were altogether for a short while, but Silas got himself caught by the CRM so Elton and this other guy (can't remember name) could get away. Silas is now poking zombies with a funky stick and Elton and this other guy are missing. Typical TWD storytelling, let folk disappear for a while before you bring them back again.
@Thom77 @Lindzi Yeah Elton, that’s who I meant, I was just checking who was paying attention. He went off with that magic kid who Iris fancied and they all thought Silas killed him and were ready to burn him at the stake until it turned out he wasn’t really dead after all so everything was OK again ..l
I'm so on the ball, I wish you guys would keep up! 😜

Ooooh post credits World Beyond this week! Interesting!
Yep, Jadis has popped up again and I'm guessing Rick will be nearby as well....you never know who might be under those black helmets!!!
Jadis wasn't a complete surprise, I had read somewhere before the series started that she would be back so it must have been announced that she would be back to tempt folk to watch?? I thought she might have been back in episode one, but she didn't appear and then I forgot about her again, so post credits with the latest episode was a slight surprise because of my poor memory.
BUT what is the time line again from Jadis flying off with Rick in the helicopter to what we've just seen....I've lost all idea of what's happening and when????????
She was a complete surprise to me.
Yes the time line is so tricky, jadis was before the big time jump in TWD and the WB is supposed to be about kids growing up not knowing time before the apocalypse isn't it?? So in TWD was she affiliated with the republic, as she was calling in helicopters etc, and when rick got taken away she went with him and she's been there ever since?

That sounds like a good timeline synopsis that should keep me right......although what chances of another TWD World time-jump coming soon just to confuse us more?????????
@Thom77 @Lindzi Bit late as I’ve only just watched this weeks episode, but yes that was a surprise! We did like Jadis didn’t we so it’s good to see her again! Gotta say don’t know about you guys but season 2 has really upped its game, I’m enjoying it (typical, another 5 episodes and it’s all over!) Forget about the empties, it’s more like a political thriller, I’m loving all the intrigue of what’s really going on.
As for timelines, I don’t know exactly but the show is set in the years between Rick getting kidnapped and the following 'time jumped' season with ninja Judith. Was that about 5/6 years gap? However I’m not sure whereabouts in that 5/6 years we are, but Rick was basically already captured at the start of S1.

I think I am enjoying this season two better than season one (probably difficult not to???) and with just five episodes left what answers might we get about what is really going on?? I'm sure the search for all answers will continue to future spin-offs in true TWD fashion!!!!!!! So keep an eye out for more in Carol & Daryl: The Zombie Love Story and Rick Grimes: Where the hell have I been....coming soon to Disney+
@Thom77 @Lindzi Well I was going to sign up for D+ over Xmas to catch up on some TWD action, but their £1.99 for 1 month offer came along and tempted me, so I am now busy bingeing my way through S11a. Gotta say it started very dark and gothic, a big step up from the 'lazy specials' and having now reached ep 5 just had to pop in and say I love the Commonwealth orientation video, doesn’t it look wonderful! I’d sign up for sure, just put me down for a job in the ice cream parlour! 😂👍
Maybe you’d be interested in the D+ offer Thom? Ends tomorrow, but if not then treat yourself to the Commonwealth promo and see what delights you're missing …. Absolutely no spoilers at all.
@Lindzi yes, must say I’m enjoying this season too. Funny how different seasons have varied in quality so much, there’s not much consistency in the TWD universe is there!!
Seem to have lost the option to add a spoiler tag so won’t say much in case it spoils things for Thom, but …. sad Judith 🙁
Judith is the only child we've ever liked on TWD as well 😢
Just had a look at where you are and it's episode 6 that I thought was like a horror movie.
I did see the £1.99 offer thingy, but I'm not really ready for joining another service at the moment.
It certainly is good that the original topic of this Thread has some new life as two of us are now up to date with original TWD, so chat fully without fear of spoilers as I can easily avert my gaze.....or I'll read it all and then forget it by the time I get to watch it??????
I'll just jump in occasionally when the topic of World Beyond rears it's ugly head!!!
@Lindzi Just finished all 8 episodes and this has been a cracker of a half-season hasn't it? Without saying too much they've left it on a right cliffhanger and omg if anything happens to Judith I'm boycotting it! A really good mix of episodes - really enjoyed our visits to the Commonwealth too. Great stuff! 👍😮
