Telephone line dead but broadband ok

Hi

My phone line had interference all day yesterday and today I was cut off whilst talking to my 88 year old mum. Now I have no phone line at all. Mum called me back but the phone didn't ring my end. My broadband is phone. I've checked my micro connection and all OK. Please help.
