Now tv on Chromecast with google tv

I see now tv doesn’t work on Chromecast with google tv however does anyone know if casting still works similar to the older Chromecast devices

Big thread all about it there. Some people have put the app for Sony Android TV on theirs

Hi, having spent ages late last year trying to get Now onto this device and failing I recently revisited the issue and finally succeeded. Solution is relatively straight forward if you can get hold of / or extract the APK for the Firestick 4k this installs and works as expected when sideloaded onto the Chromecast with Google TV via ADB.
