NOW TV BROKEN LOADING SCREEN. SERVER DOWN. HELP!

I was using the BBC iplayer app on now tv on my television and it came up with a pop up saying *something went wrong* I unplugged my box then re connected it and now it has frozen on a colour changing loading screen that just says now tv powered by roku. It's been stuck on the page for an hour now and not even the gadget will connect!!!!! Help.

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

Have you tried temporary disconnecting the power to your nowtv box or stick ?

 

I am assuming you are using a nowtv stick or box or Roku Player if it's shows Roku on your screen.

 

If you are using the new Hisense Roku Smart TV again just switch the power off at the mains outlet for about 30 seconds.

 

Should temporarily disconnecting the power doesn't help then maybe try in this sequence steps 1, 6 or 2 from this linked help guide.

 

With step 6 update the software even if on the same software number.
