Just a quick question, I'm leaving BT on the 21st of next month (not renewing with them) and I'm going with NOW broadband - Do NOW take over everything from my previous provider? BT tried to say they'll be charging me for line rental, a new 24 month contract even though I won't have broadband with them. I noticed NOW has an option to pay a fee for the landline services' as well as the broadband. So why would BT try and charge me if I'm going to NOW?

Ideally when you signed up with NOW you would have told them that you are with an existing provider and that NOW would deal with everything.

That being switch NOW can only handle everything when you are an existing BT, EE, or any other non-cable provider.
If I were you, give the broadband team a call.

Thanks for the info, I think it's best that I ring and speak to them. When I go through the deals and to place order, it has no option to say I am changing from another provider. I'll ring them tomorrow, thanks for the reply!

Spoke to a foreign woman this morning, couldn't understand my postcode and said 'ok' and hung up...definitely won't be joining. What a joke, already seen posts about customer supporting being appalling..
