Getting half signed out

I keep finding myself ‘half signed out’; still Signed On, as far as NowTV is concerned, but not Signed On as far as the Community is concerned.

In this state, I can’t sign back on to the Community, because NowTV tells me I’m Signed on already, but I’m not.

To fix this, I used to Sign Out of NowTV, which I had to do twice because the first sign out went to an error message, and then I could sign in again, and get both NowTV and Community access.

But now, I daren’t sign out of NowTV in case it throws my downloads away.

So my workaround is to pick a Community posting, any posting, and try to Reply to it, at which point I will be asked to sign in, I do so and get my Community access back, and then I Cancel the Reply that I never really intended to make.

Not really satisfactory though, is it?

From time to time, I have to go through the same processes  you described in your post to sign on to this forum.  

But, as Dr said, it's been this way for ages and, in the scheme of things, this prob is no big deal.

Thanks for posting about this.

Sadly it is an issue that's been going on for sometime, we know why it's happening and what needs to happen to get it fixed - it's a big piece of work but we are addressing it and making progress, albeit slowly.

I'll keep you updated on this - Trust me I'll be very glad when it's fixed too!
