Discovery plus app

With discovery plus being available (and free for 1 year) on sky q i am just wondering if the discovery plus app will ever be an option on now tv? I dont mind paying for the subscription but it would be nice if all options available to sky customers were also available to now tv users especially since on just tv i spend over 25 a month (more when i activate sky sports).  Plus i also have internet and phone with now tv ...

It is very unlikely that it will become an app on the Now TV stick. 

 

The focus of Now TV seem to be switching from providing a device to focusing on the service itself. Which the deal with Amazon will indicate this to be true, since Now TV has finally become avaliable on Amazon Fire sticks.
