Changes to Freeview November 4th

From November 4th all Freeview channel numbers from 24 upwards will move by 1 position so all NowTV branded Freeview boxes will need to be retuned.

The Horror channel, number 70, has already moved to 68, I almost missed Star Trek: TNG because of it, as the change happened without warning.

@ukbobboy ofcom have given Freeview a ticking off for not publicising major changes to the network. This change I believe will be accompanied by a major advertising campaign but it won't help people if they only swap one or 2 channels around in the future.

Every time one of these, all too frequent , renumbering exercises happen, I’m glad that most of my tv viewing, Now TV excepted, is via Freesat.
