If you take a free trial and don’t cancel it, it turns into a paid monthly subscription, using the card details you gave to NowTV when you signed up for the account.
This is fully explained in the description you were given at the time.
But to stop it now, go to My Account/Passes & Vouchers, find the running Pass, and Cancel it.
Make sure you go through all four steps - don’t bail out early - and that afterwards the pass does indeed show as cancelled.
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
