Has now tv improved this service? Can it be accessed on a smart tv?
Hi @Anonymous User,
It depends on the make and model of your television. In the last few months some models of Samsung are now capable of supporting the NOW TV app. For more information look here: Watch NOW TV on select Samsung TVs
Hi and welcome to the forum ,
Perhaps the following 'Help Centre' article may be of use to you: What devices can I use to watch NOW TV?
If you are interested, Argos are currently offering the following NOW TV 'bundle' deals: -
NOW TV 'black' box with 3 month 'Entertainment' pass @ £14.99
NOW TV 'black' box with 2 month 'Cinema' pass @ £14.99
Cheers
No your wrong my Samsung also has the now tv app and Netflix and amazon prime. In fact it has ALL of them!!
I'm having the same problem. I can watch Now Tv on my iPad but the minute I try to connect it to my tv I get the following message
"Sorry! Playback is not allowed on the external display"
why is this and what are you doing to resolve the issue?

Hi @Anonymous User This isn't actually an error. It due to the way our license with our providers works. There is no way around this unfortunately unless you want to use another device that is supposed to connect to the TV

Thanks. I'm in Portugal at the moment. I am able to watch now tv on my iPad. If I was to have my now tv box sent here would it work on the tv?
Yeah it should work for up to 30 days abroad @Anonymous User 🙂
Thanks Tony. I'll arrange to ship my box to Portugal and try it out. I have a sports pass I want to activate to watch the Ryder Cup next week.
