Ensure both devices are in standby, or preferably powered right off.
Unplug, and then reconnect, the HDMI cable between them, making sure both ends are firmly seated, and the cable is not tangled up with, or bundled with, any other cables.
Power on the TV and let it settle. Finally, power on the NowTV device.
Does it now work?
If not, repeat with an alternative HDMI cable.
If still not, reset the NowTV box by holding in the button on the bottom of it for 15-30 seconds, and set it up afresh when it powers up again.
if still no go, come back and report.
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
