tv stick power supply

bought a stick for my mother she has no usb on her tv and no spare wall sockets to plug in to mains .she dose have a spare hdmi .if i get a hdmi to usb adaptor will it power the stick ?

Hi @Anonymous User 

Nope a HDMI to USB adapter will not work with regards to power for running the nowtv stick.

What about using a small extension power lead with multi point plug in sockets or something like a 2, 3 or 4 way gang power adpator that you can plug into the wall mains power outlet socket, where you can buy them from places like Amazon etc ?
