Subtitles not on all programmes

Hi all. So I have a now TV stick. I can watch some programmes with subtitles but not all programmes even though they have an 'S' on screen indicating there are subtitles available. Why would this be? Obviously I can't message Now TV directly. I have gone to main settings to make sure captions are on. Help would be appreciated. Thanks. Shane

Have you tried turning them on within the programme. The section where the play rewind forward part on the right is a little icon with lines click that and takes you to turn subtitles on. I’ve found have to do this each time watch the show. Although subtitles are glitchy at the moment and not always available even though has the s.
