Stick software change list unable to accept

I have bought the NOWTV Stick a few days ago and started using it straight away. From the first day of usage a notification pops up stating new software change list. Offering to update to version v.5.28.7.4.

 

It offers accept or later at the bottom. I have tried pressing accept every time but when I press OK it just resumes whatever I have in the background, it doesn't respond to the screen. So I have had to turn it off every time to continue watching. 

 

What can I do to fix this as it happens once an hour?

Hi @Anonymous User 

 

Perhaps try step 6 in this link article below (update the software even if it's showing the same number).

 

If that doesn't work then factory reset the Stick.

 

To factory reset the stick go into the Stick menu settings under Advanced System Settings where you should see the option to factory reset your stick.

 

Just be aware factory resetting the stick means you will have to setup the Stick again from scratch (just make sure you use your existing nowtv account details when prompted).
