I am setting up my new now tv stick and I am half way through and the remote connection is now lost and will not reconnect I have removed the batteries and Tried to connect but it will not !!

Have you tried re pairing the remote by following this help guide.

If the remote is still not responding then perhaps try a factory reset by pressing the small reset button on the stick for about 10 secs.
