NowTV stick isnt coming on

Ive just got my stick and i set eventhing up but accidently reset my remote when trying to set it up so the volume buttons will work(tryed this three times already and still wont work) so i couldnt get the remote to connect again so i turned it off and then tryed to turn it back on and nothing is coming up, its not even loading ive unpulled it and turned my internet and pulled it back in and nothing is happening. what do i do?

Have you tried a factory reset on the stick ?

With the TV switched on and your stick powered up, hold the small reset button on the stick for about 6 seconds until hopefully you see the lets get started message on your TV screen.

Please note with a factory reset you will have to setup your stick from scratch again.

Is it only the remote that won't connect to the stick ?

On your TV screen can you see any NowTV menu's or is the screen blank.

Does the white light show on the stick and are you using the supplied power adapter plug that comes with the stick, rather using the power from your TV's usb port.

If it's only the remote that's not working, then see if re pairing the remote (maybe with new fresh batteries by following the linked guide below).

Should the pairing of the remote not work, what happens if you download the free Roku remote controller App onto your smartphone from your phone Apps Store (where i am assuming you own a smartphone).

Just had another read of your first post and it sounds you may have bricked the stick whilst it was undertaking a software update when you disconnected the power to the stick.

Try another factory reset by following these instructions.

If you get no joy with live chat, send the stick back to the retailer that you bought it from and either ask for an exchange or a refund.
