Now tv stick remote not working

Had to keep rebooting my device and it slowly got worse until it stopped working. Tried to reset it, gets to the screen to pair remote then nothing else happens. Green light is flashing on back of remote but nothing works/connects. Has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions? Thanks

If you own a smartphone you could download the free Roku Remote App from your phone's App Store to operate the Stick (either long term if you wish or short term until you get the nowtv remote working again somehow).
