Now TV stick

I just got a new now tv stick when I signed up a new account at Thorpe Park and I’ve got home and set it all up but I had to use my hotspot on my phone because it will not connect to my wireless internet and I don’t know why. The password is right every time and it connects to my hotspot fine I have reset them both more than once and also the remote keeps freezing

@Anonymous User Welcome to the community. Could be a few things causing this. Try connecting the stick to a different TV to see if you can get setup there (might be a wifi reception issue) and if you can then connect the stick back to the original TV. Could also try disabling pings by following the steps in this help page

(the help page is for a NOW TV box but should still work on the stick). If you have a little HDMI extender lead knocking around you could also try connecting that between the stick and TV.
