Now TV stick boost - LG TV

Hi there - I have a new 4k LG TV. I now know that the Now TV app on the TV doesn't support 50FPS Boost - but if I got a NOW TV stick and used that on the TV instead, would I be able to get the 50FPS Boost then?  Or is there something about LG TVs that means you can't get 50FPS on Boost whatever version of the Now TV app you use?

@Anonymous User the stick will give you 50fps on selected sports channels (Main Event, Premier League, F1, Football, Cricket and Golf).

It's just the native app built into the LG TV that won't.
