Because you didn’t activate the pass?
What form did the pass take - paper, scratch card, embedded on the stick?
If the latter, then the pass will be waiting for you on your NowTV account, but you still have to go in and start it, as it runs from the day you do this, instead of automatically starting when you might not be ready to start using it.
If it’s not the above, though, please describe the steps you took to start using the Stick, and what happened when you tried to activate or use the pass.
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
