NowTV are running a new ad campaign, and I think its a winner. If you haven’t seen it, watch it here:-

It neatly references the ‘95%’ claim of Freeview (with the younger generation suggesting perhaps 70% is nearer the mark for them) and suggests where you can get the other 5% (or more) from, with a series of clips from the NowTV offering, each one crediting Sky in small lettering so you can see where the stuff is coming from, without invoking the elephant in the room of cannibalising a full Sky subscription, which this family clearly don’t want.
And it solved a mystery for my wife, who always wondered what sort of a deal NowTV had, to be able to show all those great Sky programmes 😍
Set a Payment PIN on your account so that no-one but you can buy memberships on it.
Check your bank accounts monthly for any other unexpected payments to Now.
That way you can at least nip them in the bud, while you and Now figure out whose fault they are.
