BT Sport on NowTV

Hi,

with the news around Sky and Bt joining forces, has there been any confirmation that we would see a Now TV pass for all BT Sport channels - the same as for all the sky sports channels that are provided now.

Is there a clear idea that this would be available when the BT Sport app arrives onto NowTV?

Thanks

@Anonymous User nothing so far. I expect that given the BT app, it won't be a combined pass.

It is expected that these new services will be available to customers from early 2019.

How early, I don't know, but hoping January 2019.  And not 100% certain how it would be implemented for Now TV.

BT & Sky extended their cross-supply deal in October 2018.

Sky will become BT's distribution partner in Ireland, in addition to

the previous announcement regarding the UK.

"The partnership will come into effect next summer just in time for the

2019/20 Premier League football season".

Sky have updated their advice to Sky TV customers:

"It's expected that these new services will be available from mid 2019 - with further announcements expected nearer the time."

Some suggestions elsewhere, are that it could all happen around

1st August 2019, to coincide with the expiry of BT's existing contract

in Ireland with Eir?
