Adapter cable for nowtv stick

The frame of my tv stand covers the hdmi ports preventing me from fitting the stick - can the outlet of the stick be converted to a usd using an adapter cable?

Maybe look at a HDMI extender cable, where you can buy them with a straight or 90 deg angle.

 

Obviously you will need to check if there is any space what's so ever to squeeze this type of cable between the HDMI port and the cover of the TV stand.
