That sounds strange, i never come across that error message before on the smart box.
Would suggest trying a factory reset from the link guide instructions below and setup your box again from scratch and carry out a fresh rescan of the TV channels off your TV aerial.
After that, i would go back into the box menu settings and check for any software updates.

It's most unusual for a hardware media playback device to display such an error message. And should be impossible for the 'smart box' as it does not support USB connected peripherals...
I suggest that you return your device back to your vendor (place of purchase) and ask for a replacement.
