Every time I attempt to watch anything through the UKTV Play app it crashes and returns to the Nowtv home screen.

Have you tried removing the UKTV Play App and then re install it again from the Apps Store ?

Just checked the UKTV Play App and it seems to be working fine for me on my nowtv smart box.
Perhaps try some of these steps in this linked help guide to see if that fixes the App.

Start with step 6 first, then if that doesn't work try step1 and then lastly try step 2.

Same thing happening here, was working before I had to register to use UKTV Play.

We are aware of this issue on the NOW TV Boxes and are sorry for the inconvenience, our app developers are working on a fix for this issue.
Well, at least it’s not my fault.
