Purple light on Smart box

My NOW tv smart box was working fine 20 mins ago but now, as I’ve turned it back on again, a purple flashing light appears followed by a static purple light - with no connection to the tv. After a few minutes the light turns off again.

 

Has anyone experienced the same issue?

Welcome to the forum. That sounds like normal behaviour for the box - flashing light is connecting to wifi, solid light is connected and then the light goes off if it's not in use. Sounds like it could be a HDMI issue instead - try powering down TV and box then removing HDMI cable and connecting it back up firmly and trying again. Also check the TV is definitely on the right HDMI input and if needbe try a different HDMI cable.
