You could try a factory reset on the box, by pressing the Home Button 5 times, quickly followed by pressing the FF Button 3 times, quickly followed by pressing the RW Button 2 times on the remote controller, then when the secret menu appears select "Factory Reset".
If you can't access the hidden menu above and you either have the white or black nowtv box, push and hold a pin in the small reset hole on the back of the box for 30 secs.
Should you have the nowtv smart box, press and hold the reset switch on the bottom of the box for about 15 secs.
Can't guarantee a factory reset will work, but i suppose it's worth a try.
