Now tv box keeps skipping back

The last few days when we are watching channel 5 on smart boxit randomly jumps back about 20 mins to parts we have already seen and have to fast forward to catch up. It happens on other channels but not as much. Brought a new smart box as we thought it could be that but happening on tge new one. Anyine k ow what it could be

Can you please double check your Device ID number - We think it may have an extra digit.

I haven't.

 

I'd emailed the CEO, then on Wednesday got a reply from Emma asking for the serial number of our smartbox. I replied immediately, and got a further response saying:

 

I have passed that on now to the Roku team to try and push this firmware update through.

 

I hope this will be a quick response from them, but I will chase this up if we have had no word within the next 24 to 48 hours.

 

I sent a reply last night asking for an update, but so far haven't had anything.

I'm happy to report that we have now been able to download and install the upgrade, and it does appear to have fixed the problem.
