Both my wife and i have seperate accounts. But is it possible to have both accounts registered to each box ( one upstairs with entertainment and one downstairs with movies ). Or do we have to cancel one and then restart the pass on the other account?

It's a bit of a pain using two separate accounts, where you would have to sign out on one account and then sign back in on the second account when watching different passes allocated to the different accounts.
Any reason why you have two separate accounts?
Unless you need more than 4 devices and 2 simultaneous streams, then I would be inclined myself to cancel one of the passes on one of the accounts and keep everything on one single account in the future.
