May 2020 system update - Home Screen is still broken

I have a black smart box. The most used apps disappeared from the home screen some weeks ago which apparently was NowTV's decision. (A bad one in my view). Since then, none of the catch up services have worked from the home screen - the "oops something went wrong" message just pops up. They can be selected from My Apps though. This issue still exists after the latest system update.

I meant March 2020. Anyway, it's still broken for me as above.

I have 2 Smart boxes so I tried the other one. It updated OK and the most used apps appeared on the home screen. Went back to the first box - it updated at first to what seemed to be an older software version with just vertical scrolling on the home screen and no frequent apps on the home screen either.

So I did a factory reset on the first box. It updated OK and all's well - frequently used apps are back on the home screen. Maybe there's been a software update. I also suspect some kind of corruption developed on the first box, but all's well now. Maybe someone out there can cast some light on this ?
