Is an update due for the Crunchyroll app?

I noticed that the pre-installed Crunchroll app is quite old, and as I find the current app quite buggy to use, I wondered whether anyone knows if the app is due an update?

(Edit: I preformed a forum search for an answer but couldn't find anything).

Hi

Crunchroll is a third party app so we wouldn't have any information on when they will provide an update for the app

Thanks Aaron for the clarification - I thought that may be the case.

After doing a little digging on other sites, it looks like the app itself isn't buggy/at fault, but a problem with the Cruncyroll site itself.
