Do you need an ariel to watch a sports subscription.

I was saving my one day sports pass for a football game and i recieved my new nowtv smartbox today. I was wondering do I need an ariel to watch the sports channels?

Welcome to the forum. No, all the NOW TV passes are delivered via the Internet using the NOW TV app, as long as your box is connected to the Internet you can watch your sports pass.

Thats great. Now I don't have to buy an ariel 😊!!
I take it that ariel is just for free to air channels and not for the movies either!

@Anonymous User Yep, just for Freeview broadcasts. All the other apps on the box including the catch-up BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub etc will work fine as they stream over the Internet, and all NOW TV passes will work fine, including cinema!
