Can't connect box with TV?

Can't seem to connect smart box to tv? We have broadband so that's not the issue, comes up with activation plugin not downloaded -4.
Anyone have any ideas?

This error message or something similar has cropped up in the past.

See if anything on this link thread helps, where some of the suggestions have worked for a couple of people in the past.
