Can anyone help, I have recently cancelled my Sky and want to use Now TV now and was wondering what is currently the best box to get?

my TV doesn’t have the app but I do have an Xbox One connected to my TV and that has the app.

Has anyone else cancelled Sky and went to Now TV

I don't use a games console when watching nowtv, but i think the only thing missing on the Xbox One NowTV App at the moment is that the Xbox One won't provide 1080p HD & 5.1 surround sound with the additional Boost Pass.

If that's important then i would look at the NowTV 4K smart box or a Roku Stick Plus if you can find one selling cheaply in the Sales.

What i would recommend if it's practically possible in your home setup is to use your Xbox One over Ethernet when streaming NowTV content.

I missed a deal for the smart box when it was £25 so now might try and wait for another deal or go for the stick.

I would prefer the HD so using the app on Xbox might not be best at the minute.
