So out off my 3 now tv freeview boxes 2 the other day updated to 9.3.3 build 4095-16
since then I’ve had the following problems
Boxes aren’t auto powering off when I turn off the tv’s ie they are staying on all night.
The tv guid will not load properly
Is anyone else experiencing this??
the one box that’s didn’t update is working fine ie turning off at night and TV guide functioning as it should
@schnapps would you have any idea how to report this to the now tv team
@36deedee the powering down issue has been reported a number of times during the beta test and since the roll out

Tag Simon again in that thread and see if you can get a response. There is a work around - press the back button to open the menu on the left, go to app store, select NowTV and leave it on the information screen. The boxes will power down after your selected preference (1 minute, 10 minutes etc).
As for the EPG issue, tag Simon in this thread!
@Saint1976 i should have pointed out this update has not installed the new homepage
Hi @36deedee
I am also experiencing the blank TV show schedule information or the same programme information across all eleven Sky Sports channels from the NowTV Now & Next Guide when using my NowTV 4K Smart box.
I haven't checked the NowTV live Cinema or Entertainment channels where the majority of my NowTV live content watching is Sports.
I haven't got any spare slots to swap over to my NowTV Freeview Smart box that i rarely use nowadays (left stuck in the cupboard), but i would guess it would be the same 😠 (though you don't need to have a registered device to view the NowTV TV Guide) 😠
@schnapps for me the TV guide only seems to have a problem on the freeview side of things all now tv channels TV guide is fine.Don’t know what the update to the freeview box Tuesday was suppose to do,it never installed the new homepage layout and has cause the problems I mentioned above,as I said I have 3 now tv freeview boxes only 2 updated and these are the two I’m having issues with
Hi @36deedee
The Sky Sports live channels glitch is random for me on my NowTV 4K box and it might be fine for a couple of hours or days, then when i press the OK button on the remote to bring up the channel information on screen and skip through whats on the other Sky Sports channels the glitch will appear.
Pressing the back button a couple of times or pressing the Home button on the remote seems to fix it for me until the next random time it happens again.
Here's a screen shot taken below in the last minute from Sky Sports F1 channel.
NowTV 4K box running software version 9.2.3 build 5136-68.
Seems really odd to me to start pushing updates out to the freeview boxes that are just causing problems the 4K boxes have.I haven’t seen anyone else post about their freeview box updating....it can’t by just me can it?? Lol
Hi @36deedee
My guess you was the first to notice it, where others may or may not pick it up in the coming days (should they be on the same software version).
Sometimes a reboot of both your Router & NowTV box will refresh the main TV Guide and give it a kick start into live.
Also I am guessing you have tried a forced software update on the boxes in question ?
This updates your software, fixing any faults in the process.
Home x5
Fast Forward x3
Rewind x2
@schnapps @I have indeed tried
your suggestions and it don’t work....suppose we will have to wait and see if the powers that be decide to fix the issues
Hi @36deedee
If nobody else reports it on the Forum in the next few days i will dig out my NowTV Freeview Box (force a software update on it to see if i can get the same software version and test out over the Freeview channels and Freeview TV Guide information etc.)
@schnapps @Don’t know why that’s posted upside down lol but they just seem to Rolled it back to previous version
Hi @36deedee
Perhaps NowTV have found an issue with the software version you received or it was a software version that wasn't intended for public release and managed to slip through the net onto your devices where everybody else seems to be on software version 9.2.3 and not 9.3.3.
This happened to me on the NowTV App Youview box software release a year back or so where the software version wasn't intend for my eyes or anybody in the public apart from in-house NowTV testers.
Within a day or so NowTV realised their mistake and reverted back to an older software version.
I’m glad they did roll it back everything working as it should again
Ack don’t be at that now lol
all I’m waiting on is my stick and 3 boxes running the same sofwear it’s driving my mad lol oh and at least a 24 hr TV guide

Hi @36deedee
That's great news to hear 😁 (until the next time something gets broken 😢).
@schnapps @36deedee Ha ha , so true, but at least nowTV realises their mistakes and usually rolls back pretty quick. There are other companies that I can think of where they supposedly provide 'updates' and it takes months for the major issues caused by the 'updates' to be fixed . I'll give you a clue as to what company that might be ... Windows 10 🤣
@commanda6 @36deedee @schnapps @Saint1976
Hi all,
Just to clarify things - yes this update was rolled back due to the bugs that you've seen. It's being fixed and the update will be rolled out again once the issues are resolved.
Thanks
Simon
