Welcome to the forum. If you've already got a BT-compatible phone line at your property then it's likely you won't need an engineer visit, all work will be done at the exchange/cab and you will just self-install the router yourself. If you don't currently have a BT line they will install for you, you'll be advised either way when ordering. More info here
