Slow broadband speeds

We set up our broadband on Monday and whilst I appreciate it takes a couple of days to get the best speed we are consistently getting slow speeds of between 12 and 15mbps. We paid for fibre so not impressed. I've tried checking the speed at different times and the highest we have had is 15! Might as well be be paying for the standard broadband! Any advice?

Welcome to the forum. First off check it's not a wifi issue by checking the line speed at the router - Log into your router from a browser at http://192.168.0.1 (username and password is admin and nowtv unless changed) then go to the Maintenance tab. Here you can see,the upload and download connection speed at the router.

If these look OK it's probably an issue with the wifi connection - try rebooting the router to change the wireless channel, or manually select a different one.

If it's still reporting low, you can give the Combo Team a call and let them know you concerns, they can check what's happening for you.
