Broadband slowed down switching from sky to now TV.

Is it normal that since switching from sky broadband to now TV broadband yesterday, my speed has halved? On unlimited broadband with sky, I was getting 17mb and a latency of 20ms. Now I'm getting 9mb with a latency of 35ms.

Welcome to the forum. Speeds will fluctuate for the first few days as testing goes on. Have you logged into the router and checked the actual speed at the hub on the Maintenance screen? If this is more like you are expecting it could be a wifi issue, try a different wifi channel (1,6 or 11 preferably) or reboot your router to let it choose a different one. 

 

If you still have any concerns give the Combo Team a call (free from your home phone) and they can check if everything looks ok and give you further advice.

Hi, yes the speed at the hub is very low compared to what I had before.

@Anonymous User In that case if you haven't already I'd give the Combo Team a ring, see what they say.
