@Anonymous User the black boxes are a lot newer, so come with a faster processor to get around the menus, it also has Ethernet for a better wired connection and also supports 5Ghz wifi which might improve quality if your area is flooded in 2.4Ghz.
The one thing it's missing is analogue output so you'll need to use HDMI.
At the moment if you have a white box I'd suggest you keep it, if you have no boxes, it's worth getting the black one.

Can you explain analogue output. As I am unsure If the black box would work with my TV.

@Anonymous User if your TV has HDMI
you'll be fine with the black box. If you only have SCART
you would need to buy an additional cable and use the white box.

Can somebody tell me if it's possible to switch back to Ethernet if I have already been using WiFi on the new black box?

@Anonymous User you can use either as and when you like.

would I need to go into settings and switch from wifi to ethernet or will it automatically switch/pick up ethernet connection when i plug it in? I say this because when you originally set up you have to choose either wifi or ethernet.

Hi @Anonymous User
Once you connect the Box via Ethernet, go to Settings> Network and allow it to Setup new connection.
