Now tv and apps very slow

Hi

I wonder if you might be able to help.

For the past two weeks out Now tv has been incredibly slow.

First time this has happend in the 2 years we've had our Now tv box.
Constantly stalling/buffering/spinning wheel.

Not sure whether we need to update our apps?
We've already updated now tv to the latest version.

Any suggestions/help would be much appreciated.

Welcome to the forum.

Sounds like the box is struggling to get a fast enough wifi connection, but as to the reason there could be a number of things.

Have you moved the box to a different location recently? Make sure it is an open space, not tucked behind the TV or on a crowded shelf or right next to the router. Sometimes just moving it a few inches out into the open helps.

Try rebooting your router and it wouldn't do any harm to disconnect the box from the power supply for a few minutes and then reconnect.

Also, you haven't made any changes to your broadband connection such as using proxy servers or VPNs to e.g. watch Netflix US have you? If so these need to be removed for NOW TV to work.

If none of that helps, post back and someone can help you further.

I am trying to use the android app on my phone and all I get is the loading circle. It won't play anything, it won't even show search results. It's ridiculous the website doesn't support playback for mobile devices and your app doesn't work
