@Anonymous User do a hard restart by putting a pin in the small hole for about 20-30 secs.

Sadly, it sounds like your 'white' box may have reached the end of its life 

Every now and again, various retails offer NOW TV 'bundle' deals, where you can buy a 'black' box together with either 'Entertainment' or 'Cinema' voucher passes for a lot less than buying the two products separately.

Did you try the pin hole reset I suggested?

Yes as I said in my first post but it didn't work I'm afraid. I've now just bought a replacement black box with 2 month movie pass for £11 off eBay
