How to watch now tv box on 2 televisions

I have just ordered a now tv box and will be hooking it up to my tv in bedroom. Is it possible to watch content in the other tv downstairs at same time? Otherwise using 2 devices
How would this work. Would you need to take remote downstairs to use?
Thanks. A bit new to this. Getting movies for £15 for 6 months so giving it a go.

The NowTV service has a device Limit of 4 and a streaming to devices limit of 2 at the same time...

This 2 devices means any 2 of those 4 including the PC you can play content on.

If you want Dual TVs running seperate films on NowTV. that requires a second box/device.

If you want a HDTV in the other room to display the same film for the cheapest way, that requires a HDMI splitter and a long second HDMI cable... To send the IR remote signals to another room requires a IR reciever and IR blaster set up...

All these extra things can be purchased from electronics retailers...

Its just cheaper to get another cloned Ruko NowTV box.. for £9.99 others allready got 3 boxes... but can only watch nowTV on 2 at the same time..

Have you got more than 4 devices connected? You may have to go to your account on your computer and remove your computer or phone/tablet.

Hi Night_Owl, thank you. No I only have the one TV listed as a device and 3
open slots. Recently I have added my PC so now I have 2 slots vacant, but
the problem persisted even when I only had my TV listed as a device with 3
slots vacant.

Try a hard reset on the box and re download the latest soft where. Double check your account details what look out for case sensitivity. If all that fails I should return the box.

Thank you Night_Owl. I actually have tried all of those, including returning
the box in exchange for a new one.a couple of times!! This is why I suspect
I am at the end of the road and will just have to make do with one TV on Now
TV. That ain't so bad J

Best wishes.

While we wait for some staff input;), have you tried putting box #2 where box #1 is?

(turning off box one before trying box 2)

Hi Daz_S, Thankyou.

Yes I have tried that. What I always find is that the original Now TV box
which I purchased is always the one that will allow me to sign in when I
move it around the house to different rooms. When ever I then try to use
another Now TV box in another room with another TV it is that box which does
not allow me to sign in and asks me to try again as there has been an
unexpected error. It is always the same error prompt which then takes me
into the loop of trying to sign in again unsuccessfully.

When this first happened I immediately assumed it was the second Now TV box
which I purchased which was at fault, so firstly I took it back to Tescos to
get a new one and when that did not work I exchanged it with Now TV, however
each time the 2nd New Now TV box does not work and it is only the original
box which will work.

Best wishes.

On the second box, do the roku channel apps work?

Are you 100% sure the details you're inputting on to the second box are the same as the first box?

O and not 0

I and not i

L and not l

(hoping for some staff input:|)

Hi Daz-S again thank you for sticking with this J All I know with all of the
2nd Now TV boxes I have is that I cannot log in. As I cannot log in I have
no way of knowing if anything works once I get there. Am I missing something
here..can you use those Roku channels on the Now TV box without logging on??

As for the making sure about user name and password again thankyou and easy
mistake to make, however on this occasion I am sure I have them right.

Best wishes.

Hi Xxx55,

We're very sorry to hear about this continued problem with your 2nd NOW TV Box.

Very strange that this has continued to persist even with a replacement box.

If you haven't tried it already, it may be worth taking a visit to Live Chat to have your registered devices completely reset. Following this you could try logging into the affected box first to see if there's any change.

Let us know how you get on 🙂

Kindest

Steve

It's no problem at all:).

I'm sure you can go to the other menus on the box without being logged in as they are separate.

Follow Steve's advice and contact them via live chat. I hope they can find a solution.

(if all else fails, I'd be tempted to look at your router to make sure this isn't causing this).
