Error 009

Error Code 009 came up after I moved white box to new TV, and installed a wifi extender adapter.  I had been having problems with the box when viewing BBCiplayer.  Once I unplugged the extended as recommended, the box reconnected to the internet, but it is still very slow to respond on the iplayer.  I also tried the factory reset and set up the box again.  Seems to be working now, but as I said, very slow to respond to remote commands.

@Anonymous User Welcome to the forum. Recent updates to the BBC iPlayer now make it quite resource hungry and as a result the older white boxes struggle to run it smoothly, so you're likely to continue seeing it perform sluggishly I'm afraid. Some people have upgraded to the newer black/smart boxes, or if you're otherwise happy with your white box you might just have to put up with BBC iPlayer.
