error code 020

Hi

We're getting error code 020 for some reason, not able to view any content, any tips? Tia

Ps we've tried unplugging everything and hard reset of the unit , nothing seems to work

Head onto live chat. It could be an issue with the app on the Black box

Make sure to click “chat online” in the green box. 

As another suggestion you could try turn your router off and on again. Might not work but work a try. As no doubt Now TV staff will ask you to do it during their troubleshooting.

FYI that I do not work for NOW, just a NOW customer trying to help

@Anonymous User that error code normally means 'HDCP error'. Essentially, your box and TV can't verify anti piracy software is installed. It's sometimes caused by a faulty HDMI cable.

 

Do you have another HDMI cable you can use and another TV that you can plug the NowTV box into?

 

If you do and you see the same error then your box maybe faulty.

 

If you do and everything works, then try the steps in the below link when connecting back to the original TV.
